Our Founder, Peter W Littman (1931-2022), was born in England, but spent the latter part of his life mostly in southern France, Monaco and French speaking Switzerland.

A successful accountant and auditor by profesison, PWL felt drawn to the many unresolved questions in the realm of ancient and pre-ancient history, and he embarked on a exploratory quest that came to span over forty years and produced the Peter Littman Corpus (PLC), a collection of 40,000+ handwritten pages of research material.

In this pursuit for knowledge he honed his own approach to analysing the Gematria and Isopsephy (letters having numerical values) in the Bible and other texts pertinent to the ancient world, and he came to conclude that effectively all the ancient cultures have a remarkable similar belief system as their core.

PWL established a charitable foundation in Liechtenstein to fund the continuation of his research. Thus the Ante-Antiquity Project is a fully funded non-profit entity under the auspices of THE PERSEVERANCE FOUNDATION. Our research team is primarily based in Dublin, Ireland, but with associates in various other locations.
